My husband and I just got married yesterday. The Irish Rose is where we had our first date, and so this place is amazingly special to us.

We decided to make The Irish Rose the place for our wedding reception dinner. Yasmin was so helpful in helping to set everything up, professionally kept close contact with us to make sure things went smoothly. The wait staff had never done a wedding their before and they nailed it. It was busy…we probably had close to 50 people and they were so patient and very very nice. They helped move things around for first dances, and they even cut and helped serve the cake. And afterword touched base with us to make sure we were happy with how the night went. All I can say is I LOVE The Irish Rose.

I can not sing their praises loud enough To everyone who helped with the wedding last night and helped make it so special… Thank you. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. You were so amazing to us. From our first date, to our wedding night, and each date night in between, thank you for making each night so special.

This was my favorite restaurant as a kid and still is today. I consider myself a health nut and there a few restaurants where the food is 100% up to my standards. This is one of them. I can’t even say that in my 6 years of living in Chicago that I have found a restaurant there that can compare. I always look forward to visiting home so I can go get dinner at “The Rose”!

Had a great meal with husband Bob S. and Sherry D. Guinness braised beef, Bangor’s and mash, and pasta with Italian sausage. All delicious meals. We have never had a bad meal and the service is great.
